Madison County Library

Now that I've started a *daily* blog about little William's life it's time for me to take it up a notch. Obviously our readers aren't interested in reading "William layed on his blanket while I surfed the Internet..." so it's time for William and myself to venture out and experience everything Madison has to offer!

Today we visited the Madison County Library for story time with cousins Kelly, Katherine, and Lauren Land. The very energetic and animated librarian (see pic) read "Froggy Gets Dressed".

Story time is held twice a week for kids 1-2 years old, so William is a little young, but what the heck, he had more hair than most of the kids there so I don't think it really matters that he's only 4 1/2 months old. William found story time to be very entertaining. He also enjoyed when we all sang and danced to the "Hokey Pokey", probably because I looked like an idiot, but apparently that's a big part of parenting...

Afterwards we went to Chick-fil-A for lunch and might I add the employees at Madison's Chick-fil-A are AMAZING. Seriously, they did everything but change William's diaper. At one point they came over to our table and carried Lauren off to get her an ice cream cone. Super nice folks and tasty waffle fries :)

Now we're at home and I don't know who is more exhausted...me or William. He's napping and I'm watching Urban Cowboy...with that being said, "Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys".

Until next time -- peace.
